"In the forests of Eastern Poland, a sacred cult has formed that has withdrawn from the outside world and worships Mother Nature. Living in houses made of growing plants, its members have turned their backs on the modern world…” The book is executed as an open, fold only (no other binding) newspaper-layout. The photographs are based in nature, imply mysticism and reference the surreal, so the large format offers space, and the double-spreads allow the viewer to immerse him- or herself within the images.
